Warranty Policy

Last modified: February 15, 2025

This document outlines the warranty and return policy.

The warranty begins on the date the aircraft is delivered to its first retail owner. To activate warranty coverage, the warranty registration card included in the front of the aircraft logbook, along with the Owner Delivery Checklist, must be completed and submitted to the manufacturer. All warranty claims are handled through the sales outlet that facilitated the customer’s purchase. Repairs performed without prior authorization and outside the approved network may not be fully covered.

The warranty applies to the aircraft and is transferable.

What the factory warranty covers

  • All components manufactured and supplied by the company. If a part is found to be defective, it will be replaced by the selling distributor or a designated service center under this warranty for a period of 24 months. The structural elements of the composite airframe are covered for 60 months. Cosmetic issues and normal wear and tear are excluded.
    • 24-month coverage for replacement or repair of manufacturer-supplied parts and installed items not covered under separate warranties.
    • Components such as the engine, propeller, avionics, lighting systems, and emergency locator transmitter (ELT) are covered by their respective Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranties.
    • Service bulletins issued by the engine manufacturer are handled per the engine manufacturer’s warranty terms and are not included in this warranty.

What the factory warranty does NOT cover

  • Any replacement parts obtained from sources other than the manufacturer.
  • Items not covered include: tires, tire tubes, and batteries, which are subject to usage variations by the owner.
  • Regular maintenance parts such as brake pads, rotors, batteries, tires, oil, filters, lighting elements, and other consumables are excluded.
  • Cosmetic defects are covered only within the first year.
  • Exterior paint, graphic decals, and other cosmetic elements are warrantied for one year.
  • Normal wear and tear, as well as damage resulting from neglect or improper use, is not covered.

Who performs warranty work

Warranty-related maintenance must be carried out at an authorized service center unless alternative arrangements have been pre-approved in writing by the distributor-dealer who sold the aircraft or by the manufacturer.

NOTE: Warranty service conducted by non-authorized entities may be permitted for qualified technicians and service providers. However, reimbursement for parts or labor will only be granted if prior written approval is obtained from the manufacturer specifying the conditions of reimbursement.

Warranty duration

The warranty period starts upon delivery of the aircraft to the first owner and remains valid for twenty-four (24) months or 500 flight hours, whichever comes first. All warranty claims must be preceded by the submission of a Warranty Registration Card and Delivery Checklist by the distributor or dealer.

How to initiate a warranty claim

To process a warranty claim, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the Warranty Registration Card and Owner Delivery Checklist have been fully completed and submitted.
  2. The customer seeking warranty service must first contact the original distributor, dealer, or service center.
  3. The distributor or dealer will determine whether the claim qualifies under the warranty terms.
  4. If the claim is valid, the distributor or dealer will submit a warranty request to the manufacturer for authorization before initiating any repairs or informing the customer of approval.

Steps after warranty authorization

  1. A credit card must be provided by either the customer or the distributor before parts are shipped; otherwise, no parts will be dispatched. Once a valid credit card is received, the replacement part will be shipped to the customer.
  2. The completed warranty form and, if required, the defective part must be returned within 30 days for a credit or invoice adjustment to the customer’s credit card.
  3. Parts will be shipped via standard ground service. If expedited shipping is requested, the additional shipping cost will be charged to the requesting party.
  4. The distributor or dealer is responsible for obtaining return authorization, completing the warranty paperwork, and sending back the defective part to the manufacturer.
